Addlestone Prom Car Hire – Rolls-Royce, Limousines & Supercars

From the excitement of the first photographs at home to a magnificent entrance at Foxhills or Sandown Park, make your prom journey a celebration in its own right.

Prom season brings a wonderful mixture of excitement and emotion. Students have spent months thinking about the outfits, the friends they will travel with and the moment they arrive. Parents want photographs, a reliable chauffeur and the reassurance that everything has been planned properly. After more than fifteen years providing luxury transport for proms, weddings and special occasions, we know that both sides matter.

At Hire a Rolls Royce, we provide chauffeur-driven prom cars throughout Addlestone, New Haw, Woodham, Row Town, Ottershaw and neighbouring Surrey communities. We've personally taken prom students to Foxhills, Sandown Park Racecourse and Oatlands Park Hotel. Those visits have taught us what makes an arrival special: the approach to the building, the organisation at the entrance, and having enough time for everyone to enjoy the occasion.

Whether the plan is an elegant Rolls-Royce, a head-turning performance car or a limousine shared with friends, we help families organise a journey that feels exciting without becoming unnecessarily complicated.

Which prom car is right for your Addlestone celebration?

Some students have always imagined arriving in a Rolls-Royce Phantom or Ghost. Others love the commanding appearance of the Cullinan, the open-top glamour of the Dawn or the period elegance of the Silver Cloud. For motoring enthusiasts, the Lamborghini Urus, Nissan GTR and Toyota Supra bring an entirely different kind of excitement.

For a group of friends, the Baby Bentley, Hummer H2 and Mercedes V-Class offer ways to share the journey. We don't believe the best choice is automatically the most expensive one: it's the vehicle that suits the passengers, their outfits, the collection arrangements and the entrance they want to make.

Foxhills Country Club – a lovely, unhurried approach to prom

Stonehill Road, Ottershaw, Surrey KT16 0EL. Venue details · Directions

There are venues that impress when you reach the front door, and then there is Foxhills, where the experience begins much earlier. We've driven prom students here and still enjoy the approach: the road leads you through beautifully kept greenery, with shrubbery on either side, before the main building comes into view.

It's the sort of drive that encourages you to slow down and appreciate where you are. From inside a Rolls-Royce, students can watch the surroundings unfold; in a limousine, there's usually a last-minute flurry of excitement as everyone prepares to step out. The entrance feels elegant and rather special without needing a dramatic rush.

A beautiful setting for a school prom

Foxhills has a wonderful sense of space. There's the grand main building, beautifully kept grounds, golf courses and the Clubhouse, where students can enjoy their evening with a dance floor, private bar and terrace looking out over the greens. The Clubhouse can accommodate around 180 guests for a dinner and dance, making it a lovely choice for a school prom without losing that country-club atmosphere.

Because hotel guests, members and spa visitors may also be on site, we don't assume that every part of the estate is reserved for the prom. In our experience the scale of the grounds helps everything feel comfortable, but students should follow the school's event instructions and respect other guests.

Our practical tip: Take the main family photographs at home and allow time to enjoy the beautiful approach. For photographs elsewhere on the estate, ask the organisers which areas are available for your particular event.

Sandown Park Racecourse – a truly spectacular prom entrance

Portsmouth Road, Esher, Surrey KT10 9AJ. Venue details · Directions

Sandown Park is one of the grandest prom venues we've attended. Its enormous racecourse setting and imposing grandstand make the evening feel like a major occasion, and the arriving vehicles can be a show in themselves. We've seen everything from gleaming Rolls-Royces and long limousines to supercars, classics and some wonderfully unusual choices.

From Portsmouth Road to the front entrance

One detail we especially appreciate is the way arrivals have been managed at the proms we've attended. Security staff have guided vehicles in from the main Portsmouth Road entrance and directed them towards the front of the venue. With so many different cars arriving, that organisation makes a real difference.

The slow approach gives students a chance to see the other vehicles, enjoy the scale of the setting and build anticipation before their own doors open. We've experienced red-carpet arrivals here, with welcome drinks waiting for students. It's a wonderful sight, although the precise welcome and vehicle route depend on the arrangements for each school event.

A grand arrival, with everything running smoothly

Sandown can welcome as many as 400 prom guests, and we've seen just how impressive it feels when so many students arrive dressed for the occasion. The event planners and security team make a real difference: cars are guided in, arrivals feel organised and students can enjoy their moment without the entrance becoming a free-for-all. There are fantastic places for photographs around the racecourse, including the famous Parade Ring when it's made available for the event.

Our practical tip: Don't treat the main gate as the drop-off point. Follow the security team's instructions and allow time for the organised procession. At Sandown, the journey through the grounds is part of the occasion. Parents should also check whether they are permitted in the arrival area before travelling there to take photographs.

Oatlands Park Hotel – another beautiful Surrey prom setting

146 Oatlands Drive, Weybridge, Surrey KT13 9HB. Directions

We've also brought prom students to Oatlands Park, and it's easy to see why families love the setting. This four-star historic country-house hotel sits in ten acres of landscaped parkland overlooking Broadwater Lake. The building has an elegance that suits formal dresses, smart suits and a classic Rolls-Royce beautifully.

What we love about Oatlands is how beautifully the old house sits within the grounds. It’s the kind of place where a Rolls-Royce looks perfectly at home, and where students can get lovely photographs with the house and gardens behind them. The hotel also has its own team to help schools arrange the food, dancing and other details of their evening.

Our practical tip: The grounds are a lovely backdrop for photographs, but remember that other hotel guests may be around. We recommend checking where the school wants cars to stop and which parts of the gardens are available on the night.

Proms and school leavers' celebrations around Addlestone

Prom season is an exciting time for families around Addlestone, New Haw, Woodham, Chertsey and the neighbouring villages. With students from several local schools making plans with friends, we find that the first big decisions are usually who is travelling together, where everyone will meet and which car will make their arrival feel special. As schools can choose different venues from year to year, we plan each journey around the arrangements for that evening.

Fullbrook School – New Haw

Fullbrook, on Selsdon Road in New Haw, is well known to families around Addlestone, and its Year 11 prom is a wonderful milestone for students. For friends from New Haw and Woodham, we often recommend meeting at one house for photographs before setting off together. Once the school has chosen its venue, we can work out whether an hour gives everyone enough time to enjoy the journey.

Jubilee High School – School Lane

Jubilee High is right in Addlestone, making it particularly relevant to families in KT15. Some students prefer a Rolls-Royce for a grand entrance; others want to share a limousine with friends. If several families are organising the booking together, agree who will be at the collection address and how many passengers are travelling before requesting a quote.

Chertsey High School – Chertsey Road, Addlestone

Chertsey High School is actually on Chertsey Road in Addlestone. With families living around Row Town, Addlestone and neighbouring Chertsey, it makes sense to plan the collection around where the students are meeting. Once the prom venue and arrival time are known, we can help arrange a relaxed journey without unnecessary stops.

Other schools in the wider area

Families in and around Addlestone may also have students at Sir William Perkins's School, Salesian School and The Magna Carta School. The type of event may be a Year 11 prom, sixth-form leavers' ball or another end-of-year celebration. We don't assume these schools have chosen Foxhills or Sandown; the venue should always be checked for the specific year.

Year 6 leavers' celebrations

Some younger pupils also celebrate the end of primary school with a prom-style party. For families connected with Stepgates, New Haw Community Junior School and other local primaries, we can discuss suitable group transport. For younger passengers, parental coordination, appropriate supervision and seating requirements must be agreed in advance.

Prom car hire across Addlestone and neighbouring Surrey towns

We cover Addlestone, New Haw, Woodham, Row Town, Ottershaw, Chertsey, Weybridge, Byfleet, West Byfleet and nearby communities. A school may be local even when its chosen venue is some distance away, so we plan around the actual collection point and destination rather than the school name alone.

One of the most useful decisions a group can make is choosing a single meeting address. Several separate pickups can eat into hire time and leave less opportunity for photographs or a relaxed drive. If different stops are important, tell us early and we'll discuss what is practical.

One-hour hire or a return journey?

One-hour prom hire

This is popular when the main goal is a memorable arrival. It can include the chauffeur's arrival at the agreed address, time for photographs and the journey to the venue. The suitability of an hour depends on the route, traffic and any managed vehicle procession at the destination.

Return hire up to five hours

For parents who would rather have the homeward journey arranged, return hire includes an agreed collection after the celebration. This is particularly useful for events ending late or held outside the immediate Addlestone area. We'll confirm the timing and meeting point as part of the booking.

Our advice for a smooth Addlestone prom night

Make time for photographs before leaving

When the vehicle pulls up outside the house, it often becomes a family occasion in its own right. Allow a few minutes for photographs with parents and friends rather than trying to squeeze them into the venue's busy drop-off area.

Think about the outfit when choosing a car

A low sports car looks fantastic, but a full-length dress may be easier to manage in a Rolls-Royce or limousine. We can help families choose something that works for the passengers as well as the photographs.

Respect the venue's arrival plan

Sandown may have security directing the procession; Foxhills and Oatlands may designate particular stopping areas for an event. Follow those arrangements rather than assuming a chauffeur can park at the main doors for an extended photo session.

Keep the group booking simple

Confirm the number of passengers, collection address, school arrival window and any return pickup. A clear itinerary is usually more enjoyable than trying to fit too many stops into one hour.

Remember the weather and traffic

Summer proms can mean warm evenings, formal clothes and busy roads. We prepare our vehicles carefully and recommend leaving sensible time for the journey, especially where a large event has a scheduled arrival window.

Why families book Hire a Rolls Royce

We've specialised in chauffeur-driven transport for more than fifteen years. Our experience isn't limited to choosing a beautiful car: it's knowing how an event feels when students arrive, what can delay a drop-off and why families value a dependable service.

We own our vehicles, carry out regular checks and can arrange viewings by appointment. Our professional chauffeurs understand the importance of punctuality, presentation and helping passengers step out comfortably in formal clothing. We also plan for the unexpected, because prom is one evening that cannot simply be rearranged.

Having personally driven to Foxhills, Sandown and Oatlands Park, we can share useful observations about the approach to each venue. We're a specialist chauffeur company, not a taxi firm, and we don't claim to be the cheapest. Our aim is to provide a memorable, carefully organised experience that parents and students can feel confident about.
