Wedding Car Hire Advice & Planning Guides
Real Advice From More Than 15 Years of Wedding Transport
For more than 15 years, we have provided wedding transport across London, Kent, Surrey and the South East, taking part in everything from small civil ceremonies and traditional church weddings to Sikh, Asian and Indian weddings involving several vehicles and full-day schedules. Over that time, we have learned that getting wedding transport right involves far more than simply choosing a beautiful car.
Our Advice & Planning Guides are where we share that experience. They are built around questions couples genuinely ask us, situations we have encountered on real wedding days and venues we actually know. We don't create guides simply to have another page on the website. Where our experience can help you choose the right car, plan timings, understand pricing or avoid a problem we've seen before, we want to share it.

What 15+ Years of Wedding Car Hire Teaches You
There are things about wedding transport that are difficult to learn from a brochure or a map. You learn that a short journey can become a very different journey at 4pm on a Friday. You learn that some spectacular venue entrances are straightforward in a Rolls-Royce but need more thought when you're arriving in a long limousine. You learn where an extra ten minutes in the schedule can remove a great deal of unnecessary stress.
You also learn that more isn't always better. Sometimes one beautiful bridal car is exactly what the wedding needs. Sometimes several vehicles need to arrive in a particular order. Some couples genuinely benefit from keeping a car for several hours, while others would be wasting money doing so. That's why our advice isn't based on trying to fit every wedding into the same package. We look at how the day is actually going to work.
Wedding Venue Guides Based on Real Experience
After more than 15 years, we have provided cars to an enormous number of wedding venues across London and the surrounding counties. We could create hundreds of pages simply listing them. We would rather concentrate on venues where our experience gives us something useful to say.
Our Wedding Venue Guides look at the things that can actually matter when arranging transport: how the arrival works, vehicle access, where larger limousines may need to stop, coordinating several cars, opportunities for photographs and whether the nature of the venue changes how much car hire you realistically need.
That's why you'll sometimes find details in our venue guides that aren't particularly important in a wedding brochure but can be very important when your chauffeur arrives outside with the bride.

Advice That Doesn't Always Mean Spending More
One of the benefits of experience is knowing when something isn't necessary. If we think a one-way journey is all you need, we'll tell you. If keeping a Rolls-Royce for several hours makes more sense, we'll explain why. If your timings look too tight, we'll say so before the wedding rather than allowing you to discover it on the day.
Our cars are important to us, but ultimately they are there to become part of your wedding, not the other way around.
Frequently Asked Questions About Planning Wedding Transport
When should I start planning my wedding transport?
Once your ceremony and reception locations and approximate timings are known, it is worth thinking about transport. You don't necessarily need every detail finalised, but popular cars and peak summer Saturdays can be booked well in advance.
How do I know how many wedding cars I actually need?
Start with who genuinely needs transporting rather than the number of cars you'd like in photographs. The bride, bridesmaids, parents and other members of the wedding party don't always need separate vehicles. We have a dedicated How Many Wedding Cars Do I Need? guide that explains the options in more detail.
How many hours should I book a wedding car for?
It depends on the wedding rather than simply the distance travelled. A wedding taking place entirely at one venue may only need a relaxed one-way arrival, while a church ceremony followed by a separate reception normally requires more time. Asian and Indian weddings can involve considerably longer wait-and-return schedules. Our Wedding Price Guide explains the different types of hire.
Do you really know the venues featured in your wedding venue guides?
Our venue guides are based on venues we have genuine experience of and where we believe that experience can help couples. After more than 15 years we have attended far more venues than we could sensibly feature, so the guides are a selected collection rather than a complete list of everywhere we have worked.
My wedding venue isn't listed. Does that mean you don't cover it?
Not at all. We have worked at a huge number of venues across London, Kent, Surrey and the South East. If your venue isn't featured, tell us where you're getting married and we can advise you on the transport.
Is a more expensive wedding car always the better choice?
No. The right car depends on your wedding, personal taste, passenger requirements and budget. A newer Rolls-Royce may appeal to one couple while another may prefer the character of a classic Silver Cloud. Our vehicle comparison guides are designed to help you understand those differences.
Can you help if I'm not sure whether my wedding timings will work?
Yes. Send us the collection address, ceremony location, reception venue and approximate times. Years of working with real wedding schedules means we can often identify where more time should be allowed or where the plan can be simplified.
Do you provide advice for Sikh, Asian and Indian weddings?
Yes. These weddings often have very different transport requirements from a typical civil or church wedding, particularly where the chauffeur waits during a longer ceremony, several family members require transport or the car is needed again later in the day. Our guides and venue information reflect those differences where relevant.
Still Not Sure What You Need?
You don't need to work everything out before contacting us. Tell us your date, collection location, ceremony and reception venues, approximate timings and number of passengers. We can look at the day as a whole and help you decide what makes sense.
