Rolls-Royce Wedding Car Hire Southwark – Prices & Local Wedding Guide
Wedding Car Prices, Local Venues, Photography Locations & Practical Planning Advice
Wedding Car Hire in Southwark
Planning wedding transport in Southwark is not quite as simple as choosing a car and giving us two postcodes. It is one of London's largest and most varied boroughs, stretching from London Bridge and the Thames through Bermondsey, Rotherhithe, Walworth, Camberwell and Peckham to Dulwich in the south.
A wedding around Borough or London Bridge can involve busy central-London traffic and limited places to stop, while a Dulwich wedding may involve historic buildings, large grounds and time for photographs. We take those differences into account when helping you choose the right amount of wedding-car hire.
With more than 15 years of wedding and event transport experience, our aim is simple: give you enough time to enjoy the car properly without paying for hours you do not need.

Which Wedding Car Package Do I Need?
If your ceremony and reception are at the same venue, our one-way wedding hire may be all you need. It is not treated as a rushed transfer: we allow sensible time for leaving, photographs with the car and a relaxed arrival.
For a church or civil ceremony followed by a separate reception, our 3-hour package is often the better fit. This allows for collection, the ceremony, chauffeur waiting and the onward journey.
If you are planning a longer Asian or Indian wedding with extended waiting, several stages to the day or a later onward journey, our 6, 8 and 10-hour options keep the chauffeur and vehicle committed to your wedding.
Need slightly longer than three hours for photographs or a longer journey? Ask us for a tailored quote. You do not automatically need to book one of the longer Asian or Indian wedding packages.
Getting Married at Dulwich College?
Dulwich College is one of the standout wedding settings in this part of South London. Its historic buildings and extensive grounds mean your wedding car can genuinely become part of the occasion rather than simply dropping you at the entrance.
If you are having a civil ceremony at the College, the Old Library provides an intimate historic setting, while larger celebrations can make use of spaces such as the Great Hall, Barry Buildings and South Cloisters. The College can also accommodate traditional ceremonies, including larger Hindu weddings in the Great Hall.
For couples choosing a Rolls-Royce, the lawns and historic architecture give you plenty of opportunity to include the car in your photographs. A Phantom, Ghost or classic Silver Cloud can look particularly at home in this setting, so tell us if photographs with the car are important and we will allow sensible time rather than rushing away after the arrival.
Larger weddings may also need more than one vehicle. We can coordinate your Rolls-Royce with our 8-seater Gen 2 Baby Bentley limousine or 16-seater Hummer for bridesmaids and family, arranging the different collections and arrivals around your ceremony time.
If your ceremony and reception are both at Dulwich College, you may only need a relaxed one-way booking with time for photographs. If you are marrying at a church first and travelling to the College afterwards, our 3-hour church and civil package is usually a more natural starting point.
Wedding Car Hire at Belair House, Dulwich
Belair House is another popular Dulwich choice and has licensed spaces for civil ceremonies as well as receptions. Its period setting, terrace and surrounding greenery make the arrival feel very different from a central-London hotel wedding.
If your entire wedding is taking place at Belair House, there may be little benefit in paying us to wait outside for several hours. A one-way Rolls-Royce booking can give you the bridal collection, a relaxed arrival and time for photographs with the car.
If you are marrying at a church first and then travelling to Belair House for your reception, keeping the car through the ceremony usually makes much more sense. Give us the full itinerary and we will advise you accordingly.
Wedding Car Hire at the Horniman Museum & Gardens
The Horniman Museum & Gardens is in Forest Hill, just beyond the Southwark boundary, but it is a natural wedding location for couples from Dulwich, Peckham and the southern side of the borough.
This is not simply somewhere to stop for photographs. Weddings and civil ceremonies can take place at the Horniman itself, with the Conservatory and Bandstand among the licensed spaces. The gardens then give couples a completely different backdrop for photographs, including views across London.
If your ceremony and reception are both at the Horniman, a relaxed one-way arrival may be enough. If we are collecting you in Southwark, taking you to a church or another ceremony first and then continuing to the Horniman for the reception and photographs, a longer booking becomes much more useful.
Tell us how you are actually using the venue and we can work the car around your wedding rather than simply quoting a fixed number of hours because the word 'wedding' appears on the booking.
Thinking of Southwark Cathedral for Wedding Photographs?
Southwark Cathedral and the surrounding Borough and London Bridge area can provide a striking London backdrop for wedding photographs. If you are considering stopping there after your ceremony, it is something worth planning rather than adding spontaneously on the day.
The Cathedral asks couples planning wedding photography within its precinct to contact its events team in advance. From our side, we also need to think about where the wedding car can safely and legally stop or wait in such a busy part of central London.
Tell us about the photography stop when you book. We can then build it into the timing rather than having your chauffeur and photographer trying to work it out after the ceremony.
Burgess Park, Southwark Park & Greenwich Park for Wedding Pictures
Not every couple wants all of their photographs at the ceremony or reception venue. Burgess Park and Southwark Park can provide useful green backdrops within the borough, particularly when the rest of the wedding is in a more urban setting.
Greenwich Park is outside Southwark, but it is another location our customers use for wedding photographs, especially when the reception is towards Greenwich or Blackheath. Wedding photography there requires the appropriate Royal Parks permission, so it is best arranged beforehand.
If you would like to stop at a park for photographs, let us know when discussing the booking. A photo stop may only add a few miles to the journey but can add considerably more time once parking, walking and the photography itself are taken into account.
Wedding Cars for London Bridge, Borough, Bermondsey & Rotherhithe
The northern side of Southwark offers a completely different type of wedding. Venues around London Bridge, Borough, Bankside, Bermondsey and Rotherhithe put you among some of London's most recognisable streets and riverside settings.
Licensed venues in this part of the borough include places such as Glaziers Hall and the Brunel Museum, alongside hotels and event spaces around Bankside and Blackfriars.
Here, the most expensive mistake is often assuming that a short distance means a quick journey. Central-London traffic, road restrictions and limited waiting space can all affect the plan. We would rather build in a realistic arrival time than have your wedding car sitting in traffic while the ceremony clock is ticking.
Vehicle size matters too. A Rolls-Royce and a stretched Hummer cannot always use the same entrance or waiting position, so if you are booking several vehicles we will consider them individually.
Church Weddings Across Southwark
There are simply too many churches across Southwark to turn this page into a directory, but we cover church weddings throughout Dulwich, Camberwell, Peckham, Bermondsey, Walworth and Rotherhithe, including well-known churches such as St Giles' Camberwell and St George's Cathedral.
For most church weddings the important part is not the mileage. The chauffeur needs to arrive before the bride, wait throughout the service, be ready for photographs and confetti afterwards and then take the newly married couple on to their reception. That is why our 3-hour church package is often the natural starting point.
The Clarendon Hotel, Blackheath & Greenwich Crossover
The Clarendon Hotel is in Blackheath rather than Southwark, but it regularly makes sense as part of a Southwark wedding journey, particularly for couples travelling from Dulwich, Peckham, Bermondsey or the eastern side of the borough towards Blackheath and Greenwich.
We provide wedding and prom transport at The Clarendon and know one practical detail that is worth considering if you are hiring a limousine: although the hotel has parking, the entrance and parking area are tight for stretched limousines. In our experience, the longer limos need to park outside rather than trying to use the hotel car park like a normal-sized vehicle.
Greenwich Park is also frequently used for photographs, so a Southwark ceremony followed by Greenwich Park photographs and a reception in Blackheath is a perfectly realistic wedding itinerary. If that is your plan, tell us from the beginning and we can allow the right amount of time.
Which Rolls-Royce Works Best for a Southwark Wedding?
The Phantom is the traditional statement choice, with generous rear space and a commanding arrival. The Ghost gives you much of the same luxury in a slightly more understated package, while the Silver Cloud is particularly suited to traditional church weddings and historic Dulwich settings.
For summer weddings, the Dawn can make photographs and the journey feel particularly special when the weather allows. The Cullinan offers a more modern look, extra space and easier access.
If you are unsure, tell us your venue, dress style, passenger requirements and the type of photographs you want. We can help you choose based on the wedding rather than simply pointing you towards the most expensive car.
Bridesmaids, Family & More Than One Wedding Car
Many Southwark weddings need more than one car. Bridesmaids may be leaving from the same address as the bride, parents may need separate transport, and larger Asian and Indian weddings can involve several family groups moving at different times.
Our Gen 2 Baby Bentley limousine carries up to eight passengers and our Hummer H2 carries up to sixteen. Either can be coordinated with a Rolls-Royce so that the bridal party and family arrive according to one plan rather than several unrelated bookings.
We will also tell you when an extra vehicle is unnecessary. The right number of cars depends on who genuinely needs transporting, where they are starting from and when they need to arrive.
Asian & Indian Wedding Car Hire in Southwark
Southwark's mix of large venues, religious ceremonies and family celebrations means some weddings need a vehicle for much longer than a conventional church booking.
Our 6-hour wait-and-return package is designed particularly for Asian and Indian weddings where the chauffeur may remain through a longer ceremony before completing the onward or return journey. Eight and ten-hour options are available for more involved full-day plans.
We do not assume every Asian or Indian wedding follows the same timetable. Send us the actual schedule, including separate bride and groom collections, ceremony, reception and family transport, and we will build the vehicle plan around your day.
Tell Us Your Southwark Wedding Plan
The easiest way for us to give you a useful quote is to send the whole plan: your wedding date, collection address, ceremony venue, reception venue, approximate times, any photography stop and who needs transport.
Because Southwark varies so much from one area to another, those details help us work out whether one-way, three hours or a longer package genuinely makes sense.

Southwark Wedding Car Hire FAQs
How much is Rolls-Royce wedding car hire in Southwark?
A Phantom, Ghost or Silver Cloud is £395 for one-way wedding hire and £550 for our 3-hour church and civil package. Our longer 6-hour, 8-hour and 10-hour packages are £595, £650 and £800 respectively.
Do you provide wedding cars for Dulwich College?
Yes. Whether you need one-way or longer hire depends on whether your ceremony and reception are both at Dulwich College or whether we are collecting you for a church or other ceremony first. We can also coordinate limousines for bridesmaids and family.
Can we have photographs with the Rolls-Royce at Dulwich College?
Yes, and the historic buildings and grounds make this one of the Southwark venues where allowing time with the car can be particularly worthwhile. Tell us beforehand so your booking is timed accordingly.
Do you provide wedding cars for Belair House?
Yes. If your ceremony and reception are both at Belair House, one-way hire may be enough. If you are arriving after a church or another ceremony, our 3-hour package is often a better fit.
Do you provide wedding cars for the Horniman Museum & Gardens?
Yes. The Horniman is just outside Southwark in Forest Hill and is particularly relevant to Dulwich and Peckham weddings. It can host the ceremony itself as well as providing attractive gardens for photographs.
Can we stop at Southwark Cathedral for wedding photographs?
Potentially, but plan it in advance. The Cathedral asks people arranging wedding photography within its precinct to contact its events team, and we also need to consider where the vehicle can stop or wait around Borough and London Bridge.
Can we stop at Greenwich Park for wedding photographs?
Yes, and some of our customers do. Wedding photography in Greenwich Park requires the appropriate Royal Parks permission, so arrange this beforehand and include the stop in the transport itinerary.
What about Burgess Park or Southwark Park for pictures?
Both can provide useful green-space options within Southwark. If you are planning an organised or professional shoot, check any current permissions and tell us about the stop so enough car time can be allowed.
Do you cover The Clarendon Hotel in Blackheath?
Yes. We provide wedding and prom transport there. If you are hiring a stretched limousine, be aware that the hotel's parking area is tight; in our experience the longer limousines need to park outside.
Is three hours enough for a Southwark church wedding?
Often it is. Three hours can cover collection, the service, waiting and the onward journey. A longer photography stop, central-London traffic or a reception further away may mean you need a little extra time.
How much is an 8-seat wedding limousine in Southwark?
Our Gen 2 Baby Bentley limousine is £295 one way, £450 for 3 hours, £495 for 6 hours, £595 for 8 hours and £695 for 10 hours.
How much is a 16-seat Hummer wedding limousine in Southwark?
Our Hummer H2 limousine is £450 one way, £550 for 3 hours, £595 for 6 hours, £650 for 8 hours and £800 for 10 hours.
Can you provide several vehicles for one wedding?
Yes. We can coordinate a Rolls-Royce with our Baby Bentley limousine, Hummer or suitable family transport, including different collection addresses and arrival times.
